Entrepreneurship can be tough, but it’s also exhilarating. The Cronos Group wanted to inspire the next wave of entrepreneurs by connecting them with real stories, honest advice, and practical insights. Supermachine answered with Pop-Up Class, a space where seasoned pros and ambitious students could meet, talk, and spark ideas. On top of sharing knowledge, it was mostly about goesting (the drive to make it happen).
How do you attract ambitious young people in a way that feels fresh and relevant? The Cronos Group needed more than a lecture series; they wanted a platform where entrepreneurial minds could connect, learn and get inspired.
Inspiration thrives in authentic environments. By hosting events in raw, evolving spaces and featuring real, unfiltered stories from entrepreneurs, we could make young people feel at home and give them the confidence to start their own journeys.
Supermachine designed Pop-Up Class as a creative and collaborative space for learning and networking. The project quickly became an annual highlight, celebrated for its honest, relatable approach to entrepreneurship.

We wanted Pop-Up Class to feel as raw and real as entrepreneurship itself. That’s why we chose a unique venue: the (then-empty) Opera in Antwerp, a space full of character, just like the participants.
The events blended inspiration and practicality. During the day, young entrepreneurs used the space for meetings, co-working, and healthy lunches. Evenings transformed the venue into a vibrant hub of storytelling and networking. Each session featured open, honest conversations with industry heavyweights like Sven Nys, Murielle Scherre, and Hans Bourlon, alongside emerging talents.
The branding is equally unique. From bold graphics to approachable messaging, everything about Pop-Up Class screamed “be yourself, but dream big.” We leaned into the idea of transparency: not just about entrepreneurship’s wins, but also its struggles.
The result? A concept that resonated. Participants left feeling informed, motivated, and ready to take on their entrepreneurial challenges. Over five years, Pop-Up Class became a must-attend event for anyone with a hunger to start something new.
