The visual identity

Forget the safe blues, sharp edges and boring tech aesthetics. RoboRana needs an identity that pops: something modern, high-contrast, and full of energy. We infused their brand with a dynamic, human edge, reflecting their role as challengers in the AI space.

The frog that started it all

The name RoboRana isn’t random. It’s rooted in the journey of founder Mathias Fransen, whose career started in molecular biotechnology. His research focused on genetically modified, fluorescent green frogs used in cancer studies. But there was something that frustrated him: the repetition. The inefficiency. The same tasks, over and over again.

That frustration followed him into his consulting career, where he saw businesses drowning in inefficiency, stuck in cycles they couldn’t escape. He founded RoboRana to break that cycle, to help organizations leap forward instead of staying trapped in outdated ways.

And the frogs? They came with him, as Rana is Latin for frog. It now stands as a symbol of agility, evolution, and transformation.

The website overhaul

RoboRana’s old website didn’t match their bold ambitions, so we drenched it in their new identity: rewriting the messaging, refining the design, and injecting it with sharp, confident visuals. The result? A website that finally feels like RoboRana: fast, dynamic, and full of energy.
