Brussels is bursting with potential, but many entrepreneurs, researchers, and innovators don’t realize where they can go for support. As the region’s go-to agency for funding and innovation support, Innoviris needed a stronger presence, clearer positioning, and a plan to reach the right people. We stepped in to define their identity, sharpen their strategy, and explore ways to foster a thriving innovation community.

The challenge

Innoviris had all the right ingredients, a strong network, invaluable funding, and a commitment to innovation, but awareness was lacking. Too many Brussels-based entrepreneurs didn’t know where to turn for support.

Innovation doesn’t happen in isolation. It thrives in a community. By refining Innoviris’ messaging and exploring interactive ways to engage startups, researchers, and policymakers, we ensured that Innoviris’ role in the Brussels ecosystem was crystal clear.

We redefined how Innoviris presents itself and connects with its audience. We started with research, then built a digital strategy that included SEO, social media recommendations, and targeted Google SEA campaigns. We also outlined tonnes of creative activations, designed to make Innoviris more visible and tangible in the Brussels landscape.

Before making any bold moves, we took a deep dive into Innoviris’ positioning. Through workshops, audits, and competitor analysis, we identified key areas for improvement. We reviewed their digital presence, performed an SEO deep-dive, and mapped out how startups, researchers, and policymakers interact with their brand.

Phase 2: Positioning & strategy

With research in hand, we refined Innoviris’ messaging, aligning it with their core mission: empowering Brussels-based innovation. We developed a communication framework that clarified their value proposition and outlined a content and digital strategy to boost engagement. This included optimizing their website, enhancing their social media presence, and defining key messaging pillars.

Phase 3: Community activation ideas

To ensure Innoviris stood out, we set up targeted SEA campaigns to boost visibility and drive engagement. We also mapped out creative activations designed to bring their mission to life in Brussels, from branded city installations to interactive experiences that connected the community. With a clear roadmap in place, Innoviris was equipped to own its space and amplify its impact across the region.
